Super Tuesday mit Zapata, Struff, Hanfmann, Marterer & Co
Das Thermometer ging schon mal auf 30 Grad im TeReMeer am Tag zwei der Qualifikation bei den Rhein Asset Open. Heiß waren auch die Matche, denn es gab absolutes Klassetennis zu sehen. Lucas Gerch kämpfte dabei den starken Brasilianer Thiago Seyboth Wild mit 7:6 und 6:4 nieder und sein Deutscher Landsmann Max Rehberg glänzte nach einer tollen Steigerung beim 1:6 6:1 und 6:3 gegen Denis Yevseyev. Damit trifft Max am Turnier Dienstag um 11 Uhr auf dem B&B Hotels Center Court auf den topgesetzten Spanier Bernabe Zapata Miralles. Ebenfalls für das Hauptfeld qualifiziert sind Alexey Vatutin, der junge Franzose Clement Tabur, Bulgariens Toptalent und Dimitrov Kronprinz Adrian Andreev und der aufstrebende Spanier Carlos Lopez Montagud.
